Video Text and Storyboarding

It took Microsoft Encoder, Microsoft Movie Maker, a trip to the Philadelphia Zoo, and some help by Carl Orff, but three hours later: EPIC SNOW LEOPARD CUB BATTLE!

The original video was completed in 1080P HD, but thanks to large file sizes, a lower-quality video was uploaded.

Recommended to turn the volume WAY UP for full effect :)  Enjoy!

Secondly, below are my storyboards for my Multimedia Montage Project on a bioremediation research assignment wiki project.  If you are interested in the details about them, please see my screencast on Thinkfinity in which I talk about them at length.

  1. Your cat battle video was really good. The music choice played such an integral role for your topic. I guess I misunderstood the assignment. I thought we had to have no sound and just movement. Your text was hilarious too. Great job. Your storyboard was just like the no-nonsense examples from our book and videos. " simple is best..." Good luck, Peggy

  2. Steve,

This was fabulous!!! I love your interpretation of the "snow leopard battle" and the music was great -- just adding to the rising tension. The voice texts attributed to each leopard created the interpretation that you wanted to create.
    Thank you for sharing this.

  3. Hi Steve,

WOW! When I read the intro to your video, I was expecting greatness, and you delivered! I laughed out loud a few times watching this -- you did a great job with this assignment! The 3 hours and multiple use of tools (and assistance from a buddy) was well worth the effort. The combination of audio, video, and text captions made for a very entertaining Concept in 60! Thanks for sharing!

I agree with Peggy, your storyboards were simple, but effective. If drawing isn't a friend of yours, stick to what you know and write it out.

    Great job!
